Hiking Trails
The six miles of hiking trails within Evansburg State Park offer a wide variety of scenic beauty. Most are easy to moderate in difficulty.
A trail along the banks of Skippack Creek is especially lovely. This pathway offers a fairy tale footbridge, wildflowers, and secluded benches with calming views. It also connects to the main day-use parking lot and the other parks on Green Hill Road, Water Street Road, Lesher Rd, and Kratz Road.

Evansburg State Park features a network of hiking trails that cover over twenty-six miles. Most of the routes are easy to moderate in difficulty, making them suitable for all ages and experience levels.

Skippack Creek is stocked for spring trout fishing and can be fished for warm-water fish throughout the year subject to Pennsylvania Fishing and Boat Commission regulations.
Golf
Evansburg State Park offers significant green space and relative solitude in a relatively urban location. Its main natural feature, Skippack Creek, dissects the landscape of the park into ridges and valleys that create feelings of enclosure and provide scenic views.
The park contains more than 26 miles of trails suitable for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking as well as cross-country skiing in the winter. They wind through a scintillating quilt work of woodland, meadows, old fields, and farmland.
